James Leroy “Lee” Thomas was a professional baseball player and front-office executive in the United States. James was born on February 5, 1936.
From 1988 to 1997, Thomas was the general manager of the Philadelphia Phillies, transforming the team from a below-.500 team to the National League champions in 1993.
